An arts centre for Walthamstow?

The next meeting of the club is in the Red Room at Ye Olde Rose and Crown, 53 Hoe Street, Walthamstow, E17 4SA on Monday 22nd of February. The speaker Aaron Clingham is the music director of the Rose and Crown and will outline their plans for the future direction of the pub as an arts venue. We may even get some singing from the stars of their latest production, Sweeney Todd.

Image 17 - Portraying a Community

Katherine Green and Image 17 were one of the commissioned projects for last year's E17 Art Trail. In a special presenation for the Arts Club Katherine and several of the other Image 17 photographers will show images and talk about the project and the communities they worked with. As well as images included in the Art Trail exhibition at The Old Glassworks, they will also show and talk about their wider work and experience with their different fields of photography.
